On December 4, 2017, the Fourth World Internet Conference was held in Wuzhen, Zhejiang. ZAIF members attended FinTech Enterprise Representatives, as Industry Organizers, and as experts and scholars.

On March 25, ZAIF hosted the China-Africa FinTech Forum: “Experience from China and Opportunities for Africa” in close cooperation with AIF, Zhejiang University, Zhejiang University International Business School (ZIBS), and Win-Win FinTech. Among the attendees were the Head of HSRC BRICS Research Centre Jaya Josie,  ZAIF Co-chair Ben Shenglin, and Anhui Internet Finance Association Secretary General Liu Qingtai.

A meeting was held on May 13, 2015, among representatives from the industry, the government, and academia to evaluate the feasibility of setting up the Zhejiang Association of Internet Finance.
