On February 24, 2016, ZAIF held its Chinese New Year Gathering. Professor Ben Shenglin, Dean of Academy of Internet Finance ZJU and Co-chairman of ZAIF, Wu Jianwei, Deputy President of China Zheshang Bank and Vice Chairman of ZAIF, Li Youxin, Associate Dean of AIF and General Supervisor of ZAIF, and representatives of other members such as Ant Financial attended this event.

First ZAIF Technology and Standardization Committee Meeting
On March 1, 2016, the first ZAIF Technology and Standardization Committee meeting was held. It was hosted by Yang Xiaohu, head of the committee. Win-Win Financing, Rongdu Science and Technology, Enniu, and Bangsun were members of the Committee that were present. Together they discussed the Committee’s direction and recent accomplishments, determined its quarterly work, and planned a FinTech Technology Meeting in May.

On May 13, 2016, ZAIF Self-Discipline Committee held its first meeting at Yuquan Campus, Hangzhou. The meeting was hosted by Li Youxin, General Supervisor of ZAIF. Enterprises such as Wacai, Weidai, Zhejiang Tailong Commercial Bank, Hangzhou FinTech Association, Tongmi, Rongdu Science and Technology, Win-Win Financing, All Bright Law Offices, and Zhejing Wu Lian Law Firm attended this meeting.

First ZAIF Public Relations Committee Meeting
On May 19, 2016, the First ZAIF Public Relations Committee Meeting was held at Yuquan Hotel, Hangzhou. The meeting was hosted by Vice Secretary General Chang Qing and members of the secretariat were present at the meeting. Companies such as Transfar, Tongbanjie, Hangzhou FinTech Association, LianLian Pay, Rongdu Science and Technology, and Zhejiang Public Data Communication Co., LTD attended this meeting.

ZAIF was Founded
On September 29, 2016, ZAIF was founded under the guidance of the Zhejiang Provincial Government and sponsored by Academy of Internet Finance, Zhejiang University, Ant Financial, and China Zheshang Bank. A lot of work had been done before the ceremony was held today. With the establishment of ZAIF, Zhejiang has become one of the first provinces to have an industrial association focused on FinTech.

On July 6, 2017, the ZAIF Standardization and Technology Committee held a meeting to review and adjust the organization chart and composition of the Committee. The Robot Advisor has been identified as an area for the Committee to conduct further study.

On July 18, 2017, ZAIF received Ascential Group Asia Pacific Director-General Dan Cotton and others and joined the meetings with Zhejiang Association Bank Industries, China Construction Bank Zhejiang branch and China Zheshang Bank. The delegation was in Hangzhou for further market research and dialogues with local financial service industries.
